My, my, my...what has this book done to me? What is it that it makes me feel since the past 3 days that I've started this book? So full, so eager, so curious, so consumed, so spirited, so agitated, so loved, so pining for love, so, so so much and finally so empty as soon as I finished my read.  Chitra Banerjee is such a story-teller, and above all the theme of The Palace of Illusions is one of my all-time favourites and amongst this true to life humongous epic, the character of Draupadi is my absolute favourite. Krishna's response on Panchaali's asking about Sikhandi and her belief in her past life, "He believes it to be so. Isn't that what truth is? The force of a person's believing seeps into those around him - into the very earth and air and water - until there's nothing else."..."...we all have past lives, highly evolved beings remember them, while lesser souls forget..." I'm sure Draupadi's, or you may call her Panchaali'...

Did Haruki Murakami intend this book only for those of his gender or for all of us? - Well, to get the answer, you will need to read this book.  As the name suggests, Men Without Women , the collection of seven stories by Murakami , revolve around the men of the world without their women. Each story is extremely deep and in the most subtle way depicts the world of the main character with the existential crisis brought in by the absence of the woman in his life. My most favourite among the seven stories is the story of Kino , he being the complete regular another man in this world with almost everything about his life being the most casual and ordinary. Though, takes numerous incidents to realize how what he thought least affected him was the very reason of all the unrealized pain deep inside his heart. The story telling is beautifully intriguing. The other very extra-ordinary story, in my opinion is of the plastic surgeon Dr. Tokai . This one is plotted around the ancient belief ...

How does eternal longing feel like?  Do we humans actually get to shape our destinies or are we mere puppets at the hand of fate? All these and so many more questions my mind asks me while I read through pages after pages; plots after plots of this absolutely intriguing novel by Khaled Hosseini .   Final Offer is the third and the last book in the series of Dreamland Billionaires by the bestselling author Lauren Asher . Well, well, well...Dreamland Billionaires is worth a read. It has been a tremendous series appertaining to the  Will of Brady Kane  and how it turns the lives of all four alive men of his family upside down. Before actually commenting anything about the third book in the series, let me pen down some generals that I've been thinking across these three books.
