Twisted Lies - Book Review

The last one in the Twisted Series, but certainly no less absorbing or enthralling than the previous three. As a reader this is what I count as most significant in stories written in the format of a series. Each needs to be a unique design with justice done in character portrayal, plotting, rising actions, climax, anti-climax, falling action and finally the resolution. And Ana Huang does that in her own skillful style. Have had a thorough captivating experience through all 4 books of hers in this series.  "He will do anything to have her...including lie" To quote her own words, "Theirs is a love twisted with secrets and tainted with lies...and when the truths are finally revealed, they could shatter everything." Christian Harper is a charming young man, but a monster in a gentleman's guise. A Cyber Security expert and a millionaire, Christian believes people in love are insufferable. He is the BAD GUY to almost all across all four stories. We have a glimpse of ...

Twisted Hate - Book Review

Whew! It's a Wow experience sailing through this series of Twisted every emotion. Ana Huang keeps her readers all interested at all times with a promise of exciting them, thrilling them and above all plotting the story in such a way that one remains amazed at every twist and turn. The story is evident about her caption - "He hates her...almost as much as he wants her." Alike the previous 2 stories in this series, this is another type of romance. In Twisted Love we come across the protagonists fighting their childhood traumas and finding reason to trust the other through love; while in Twisted Games we come face to face with the most dramatic love story between a royal princess who is only wishing for true love and her bodyguard with the most traumatic childhood experiences believing in everything other than love to be real and true. In Twisted Hate we have the most charismatic man in Josh Chen for whom it is almost as easy as pie to charm any girl except for Jules Ambro...

Twisted Love - Book Review

Ana Huang, in my opinion is truly a representative author of the 21st century young romance. She creates diverse characters from across all walks of life - simple and common to rich and royal; university students to business tycoons; army men to kings and queens.    Twisted Love is a romance full of confrontation. For Alex it is a confrontation with the fact that Ava Chen is nobody else but his best friend's sister; she is the daughter of the man who is responsible for the death of his entire family; while for Ava it becomes a confrontation with the basic trust required amongst those who share a close and intimate relationship. Ava Chen is an independent 21st century girl pursuing photography at Thayer University. She belongs to the Asian family of Chen's. She lost her mother when she was very young and was brought up by her father. She shares a very warm and affectionate relationship with her brother Josh Chen. She suffers a haunting nightmare since her childhood and finds it...

Twisted Games - Book Review

"He can't have her...But he's taking her anyway" Twisted Games  by Ana Huang   Second Book in the Twisted Series and I can't wait to read the third and fourth books in this series. Yes, the stories are undoubtedly intriguing and engaging. If Ana Chen and Alex Volkov's story was captivating and revetting Bridget Ascheberg and Rhys Larsen's romance has been entralling and beguiling. Not so uncommon of a young girl falling for her daily close acquaintance in the form of a bodyguard; but the way the plot is knit and the characters layered out keeps the reader on hooks at all times. Bridget is one of Ana's university friend who is also a Princess of Eldorra studying in the free world in Thayer away from the chains of royalty at Eldorra. She is regal, gracefully strong-willed, intelligent, animal-lover and a grounded personality. Rhys Larsen is the new American Bodyguard appointed by the royal kingdom to replace Booth. Rhys is an Ex-Navy Seal, brave, broody ...
